Investment Analyst, Equity Crowdfunding (ECF)
As an Analyst at pitchIN, you will be embedded in the heart of Malaysia's private capital markets — supporting the ECF deal team across the full investment lifecycle. From screening and assessing potential issuers to conducting due diligence and drafting investment reports, you will develop a sharp eye for what makes a company fundable and investable. This is a role for someone who is genuinely curious about investing, startups, and private markets — and who wants to build a career at the intersection of finance and technology.
Beyond ECF, you will also have exposure to pitchIN's other products including PSTX (our private securities exchange) and P2P financing, giving you a well-rounded view of Malaysia's alternative financing ecosystem.
This person is someone we can count on to...

Conduct in-depth deal assessments and analysis on prospective issuers, including financial analysis, market sizing, competitive landscape, and risk assessment
Draft well-structured due diligence reports that synthesise findings into clear, actionable investment recommendations
Assist in issuer-facing interactions, including calls and meetings with founders — helping to gather information, clarify documentation requirements, and support the deal management process
Monitor and track pipeline deals, maintaining up-to-date records and supporting deal progression from application through to campaign launch
Collaborate closely with Deal Leads, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure deals move efficiently through the review process
Contribute to improving internal frameworks and templates for deal screening and due diligence
Stay informed on market trends, investment activity, and regulatory developments in ECF, private markets, and the broader startup ecosystem in Malaysia and the region
