About pitchIN

About the Internship program 

Below are the three internship tracks we’re recruiting for. You will be reporting to the Head of Department for each track. To provide a more well-rounded and enriching internship experience, we encourage our interns to explore tasks from the other tracks if they’re interested. This approach ensures a more educational and engaging journey throughout your internship with us.  

1. Deals

• Working within a deals team to: 
  • Assess the investability and viability of crowdfunding deals. 
  • Conduct due diligence on companies looking to crowdfund with pitchIN. 
  • Support investment and campaign operations. 
• Support the analyst team to develop localized research content about private markets fundraising. 

2. Design

• Work with the marketing team to create and design tasks marketing collaterals and materials.
• Work with the product and engineering team to improve in the UI/UX and user journey of existing products.

3. Product  

• Support the development of products by understanding customer needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery from conception to launch. 
• Track industry trends, and understand the business constraints (commercial, marketing, finance, legal) to create impactful solutions. 
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to build valuable, usable, and feasible products, using data and insights to influence decisions and drive results. 
• Support pitchIN’s investment and campaign management operations. 

Requirements for this program: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree. 

• Passionate about the private market investment and fundraising in Malaysia.  

• Strong interest in the domain you are applying for. 

• Excellent spoken and written English. 

• Must be self-motivated, highly organized and independent. 

• Strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills. 

• Good to have: 
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, valuation methods and/or cryptocurrency. (Deals specific) 
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma). (Product specific)
